Last summer I had the pleasure of recording the album Verhalen Uit Buenos Aires (Stories from Buenos Aires) with the group Astori Amsterdam. The album is a collection of beautiful songs and instrumental numbers from Argentinian musicians (including Piazzolla and Mercedes Sosa) translated into Dutch. The concept is that being able to understand and follow the text of a song brings you much closer to the music. The CD is available for sale via astori-amsterdam.com and via all online streaming services.
